I recognise that everyone is completely unique and I tailor my approach for each person. There are no prescribed lengths of time for your counselling. Perhaps you feel you would benefit from just a few sessions, or perhaps you would like to explore some issues more deeply with longer term support.
In your first session we can discuss what brings you to therapy and explore what you would like to gain from your sessions.
The therapeutic relationship is a partnership between client and therapist. I will be with you as together we explore and reflect in the safe space of the therapy room, enabling you to have a new, deeper understanding of your own values, beliefs and behaviours. With this awareness is the ability to make long-term changes.
My aim is for you to have lasting, long term change. Whether you are seeking support for anxiety, depression, family issues, bereavement, negative thought patterns, menopause, overwhelm or other issues, I will be with you, supporting you to work towards your goals.
